The town of Chantonnay is particularly dynamic, both in terms of tourism and tourist activities, as well as from an artisanal and industrial point of view. An attractive town that sees its population grow each year.
Our all-year-round camping les Rulières is located about 20 minutes from Chantonnay.
So if you come on holiday to the campsite, you can take advantage of all the shops located on the outskirts. No fewer than 2 hypermarkets you can count on, even on Sunday mornings! It's practical when you take possession of your rental on Saturday around 4 or 5 p.m.
If you are a posted worker, or if you have a mission in one of the companies located around Chantonnay, please note that we are open all year round. Rather than booking a hotel, you will have the opportunity to stay in one of our chalets. These are real little cottages with everything you need to be self-sufficient in terms of meals and food. Generally featuring 2 bedrooms, with surface areas sometimes exceeding 30m², our chalets are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen area.

The other advantage is the peace and quiet, as well as the parking facilities. The high-performance Wi-Fi equipment we recently installed will allow you to stay connected throughout your stay with your family and loved ones.
If you are coming on holiday, perhaps to enjoy fishing, the fact that we are a campsite open all year round is a real advantage. Indeed, the best fishing periods are far from being concentrated in the high season. Fishing generally takes place in autumn or winter. You will just need to specify the period of the year that interests you and we will tell you the prices.
Prices that are bound to be very reasonable during the low or very low season.
What else is there to do in Chantonnay? Well, hiking through the typical hedgerow paths. In season, a lot of activities revolve around water sports due to the proximity of the Grand Lay, the river that crosses the region. Fancy a canoe trip? Fancy a swim in the lovely fresh water? Head to the Angle Guignard dam or the Touchegray leisure centre.
Many monuments can be visited around the campsite, and some of them are part of the commune of Chantonnay.
The churches of Saint Peter, Saint Philbert, Saint Médard can be visited in certain cases and will open their doors to you.
We will never fail to remind you that all periods of the year are beautiful in Vendée and particularly in Chantonnay, this small, typical bocage region. If you are a senior or retired, you can extend the duration of your stay while remaining within extremely competitive budgets.
