The Vendée has one of the largest cycle networks in France, with routes to suit all abilities.
- La Vélodyssée : Less than an hour from the campsite, join this famous cycle route along the Atlantic coast. Enjoy the safe sections under the pine trees between La Tranche-sur-Mer and L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer.
- The Pays de Fontenay Local Network : Numerous signposted trails start from nearby villages. Cross the Mervent-Vouvant forest on undulating trails offering spectacular views of the lake.
- Le Marais à Vélo : Explore the «Green Venice» on flat, shady paths along the canals. It's the ideal way to reach the abbeys of Maillezais or Nieul-sur-l'Autise effortlessly.

Hiking: Between Land and Water
The southern Vendée can also be explored on foot, at your own pace, to observe the local flora and fauna.
La Corniche de Cayola: For an iodised hike, follow the coastal path in Les Sables d'Olonne. This corniche offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and the waves crashing against the rocks.
Les Sentiers du Bocage: Around Saint-Valérien and l'Hermenault, wander along country lanes lined with living hedgerows. You'll discover small heritage features such as calvaries, old wash-houses and stone bridges.
La Réserve Biologique de Nalliers: An exceptional site for a themed walk at the heart of biodiversity. The paths are laid out to observe birds without disturbing them.
